I've always felt that I was an artistic person. From painting to photography, there is just something special about capturing someone's likeness. When I was younger, I painted a lot, especially portraiture, and would use photography as a reference. Over the years, though, I started to enjoy photography more and more and knew it was more than just a hobby. 

When my boys were younger, they raced 4 wheelers and to take my mind off the dangers of the sport, I got myself a film camera and started taking pictures of them. It was the perfect way to practice this hobby of mine and was a great distraction, to say the least! The more I did photography, the more I was interested in taking it to the next level.

I took all the classes and workshops I could find and I put myself out there. I started second shooting for a local wedding photographer and that was truly the beginning of the end for me - I knew this is what I wanted to do. After a couple of years of working together, my first shooter moved away and that's when I decided to start my own little business - Jessie Geesey Photography.

Since 2010, I've been blessed to get to live out my dream job - taking pictures of YOU! Thank you to all of my JGP family, for these years of great memories, and here's to many more!
